Ask questions that target their priorities like “How much time does it take you to train new hires right now?” or “How much money could you save if you reduced cancelled reservations by 70%?” These questions get your listeners to think of their own lives and consider your products or services as solutions in their everyday life.
  • Practice listening: Practice your script with a friend or colleague and pay attention to how much time you spend talking and listening. Your pitch should be to the point and should focus on the prospect. You should also spend more time in your script listening than talking. If not, revise, revise and revise until you get it right.
